Moir, George E.

George E. Moir (1910-1999) was a ranch hand, garbage man, construction worker, missionary, salesman, pastor, janitor and poet. He reflected on his 80 plus years of life experience with a poetical grace from God. "The words just seem to flow from my heart," he said of his first book Poems From The Heart. "I have to write them down." From a narrow escape from death in 1961, Pastor Moir proceeded to inspire others through word and deed. He took the routine of daily living and touched it with a spirit of tenderness, sensitivity and caring.
